| Intro to Lampworking for "NEW" Students |
For the potential "new" students who are interested in finding out if lampwork is their niche, we will offer Intro to Lampworking in place of the Mini-Lampwork class that Jari offered before. This class will be offered during the day as well as in the evenings per your requests. Once you take this class and fall in "love" with glass and lampwork, you may wish to sign up for Lampwork 101 - 105. You may schedule your class by calling Sallie at 317-440-0654 and paying your non-refundable deposit, within 3 days, by check/money order OR using the Paypal buttons on the left. INTRO TO LAMPWORKING - $60 Tuesday, 6/15/2010 - 10am-1pm OR 6pm-9pm A perfect introduction to the magical world of lampworking, this class gives you a taste of a mesmerizing art form. You will get an overview of safety precautions, a brief talk on the nature of glass, a description of tools and some important torch time to feel the magic. Most students make several beads that they are welcome to pick up the next day after the cooling off process. This is definitely the most fun class that we offer. It will leave you wanting more. The best part is that with our new state of the art studio, you can rent torch time and never have to invest in tools and equipment for a home studio.
